As I said in my last blog, I believe there is a silver lining in all situations however sometimes it can be really hard to identify the positive aspect or even want look for it in the first place. However, having the guts to really dig deep and find the silver lining will open you up to positive opportunities and endless happiness.

For example, when I was looking for a job, I had many, many setbacks, after doing about 5 assessment centres and getting rejected from all of them I was struggling to see how the consistent rejections were in any way positive for me. It made me feeling like I wasn’t good enough and I got close to giving up.

However, I kept a positive mindset and persisted to the next one and the one after that. Finally, I was successful at one and secured my desired job!

Now I see that with all those failures I pushed myself to try harder and improve myself. And I am now grateful for the rejections as they have made me a stronger and more equipped person ready to tackle any assessment centre that comes my way in the future.

The silver lining isn’t always obvious and it can take a while for it show but believe me it is always there waiting for you to discover it.
